Georgia State Route-100, near Greenville required immediate attention after erosion was at the near vertical shoulders. GDOT Thomaston District decided to do an emergency contract and specified The RETEM System. The RETEM System combines local ready mix with RETEM 3D Steel Grid.
McCoy Grading was selected for the work and began the installation of the RETEM System on the west side of the roadway on Monday-February 24th.
Southern Ready Mix provided the 4” slump concrete which was discharged from the truck flume directly onto the RETEM 3D Steel Grid. The RETEM 3D Steel Grid was anchored into place with rebar anchors.
